Interested in earning credit for an internship this summer?

Interested in earning credit for an internship this summer? The Career Development Internship Program (CDIP) can help! CDIP lets you earn credit while you explore a career field through a supervised, pre-professional, career-related learning experience. If you’re a junior or senior in any major, this summer is your opportunity to earn credit while you develop professional skills, gain work experience, and network with professionals. Here’s what other students have had to say about their summer experiences through CDIP:

Sports Radio Internship:

The training and supervision were both ideal for a summer internship. My boss did an excellent job of preparing me for future work in the radio industry. He provided me with knowledge and lessons that simply could not be achieved anywhere else... - Elliot Nathan

Design and Editing Internship:

I had no idea what a digital design company would be like going into this. It is such a prevalent field in the art world; it was good for me to have some experience of what this world would be like. I feel like I have learned a lot about photography and producing images for a client instead of myself... - Joanna Jackson

Marketing Internship:

Each project that I was given centered around one of my many interests (i.e., photography, marketing, journalism, communications). I was their ‘Marketing intern’, but I was definitely given more than just marketing projects because I had expressed early on that I had a very diverse range of interests and they did a great job at accepting that and allowing me to express those in my projects. - Karyn Fiebich

Newspaper Internship:

The work environment is very friendly and supportive, my supervisor has been continually encouraging and all of the reporters and editors are quick to offer any help I might need. All of the projects I've worked on have been very interesting and I've learned a lot this summer... - Mariah Summers
