Brady Wolford says his head was spinning with emotions as he approached graduation in 2010. Despite graduating as an honors student from the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business, he was excited and optimistic, but also anxious and frustrated due to the tough economy and difficult job market for graduating students.

One by one, nearly 60 people entered the doors of the White Stag Block on May 2 for the Career Center in Portland’s annual “Alumni Conversations: Interesting Career Paths.” Attendees included current students, recent graduates, experienced alumni, friends of the University of Oregon and event sponsors.

The job interview- that awkward encounter where you try to convince a complete stranger that you are the job candidate messiah sent to relieve them of their job hunting burdens.

For some, the experience comes easy, but for others the job interview is the most dreaded part of the hiring process. If you are the latter, there’s an app for that.  And by app I mean appropriate program--Practice Interviews.
