Scheduling a table in the midst of the bustling Erb Memorial Union (EMU), the UO's student union and heart of campus, is a useful way to promote opportunities that are open to a wide range of students. We can schedule a table any time during the academic term, but please allow three weeks for scheduling. A great way to attract the attention of the busy students to your table is to hand out a few giveaways; students love free stuff. And once they're drawn into your table, they might find that the opportunity you have to offer is the perfect fit. You can request an information table through Duck Connect.
Employers often hold information sessions the evening prior to Campus Interviews, but these can also be a great stand-alone event. Information sessions let you meet potential employees while providing students with essential information about your organization, selection criteria, career paths, and specific job openings. Information sessions are typically held in the EMU because of its central and familiar location. We can schedule an information session any time during the recruiting session, but please allow three weeks for scheduling. You can schedule an information session through Duck Connect.
