Wednesday, March 6, 2013 - 6:00pm - 8:00pm
White Stag Block
70 NW Couch Street, Portland OR 97209

UO alumni, student and friends: Join us for a panel discussion on Negotiating for Pay, Promotion and Flexibility, followed by a reception with outstanding women who graduated from the University of Oregon. Learn lessons and be inspired by their weaving career paths and negotiating for pay, promotion and flexibility.

A recent study by the American Association of University Women (AAUW) reveals that within a year after graduating from college, Gen Y women are already earning $7,600/year less than their male counterparts. And to make matters worse, female entry-level, college-educated employees feel as if they don't possess the skills to effectively negotiate for higher salaries.
