The Shelton McMurphey Johnson House, a nonprofit house museum in Eugene, Oregon, seeks applicants for a position as a weekend and special event facility supervisor.
The facility supervisor is responsible for opening and closing the House, admissions tracking, and cash handling during weekend hours when the building is open to the public, typically from 1 to 4 p.m., and for supervising renter use of the building during special event rentals. Hours for special event rentals will vary. The facility supervisor will also be responsible for light clerical work, including answering telephones, responding to inquiries, and other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director.
The successful candidate will be organized, responsible, able to work independently, and experienced operating basic office equipment and electronic tools like email, Google Calendar, and a word processor.
