The Production Intern is a part-time, unpaid position that offers benefits such as mentorship, hands-on skill building, experience in a product startup and free access to the company laser for personal projects. The Production Intern will learn how to take a product from concept to market, working within your means to produce a quality product efficiently.
Main duties include all aspects of production – prepping leather, running the laser, hand sewing (stitch holes are laser cut), edge finishing and packaging finished products. The process is easy to learn with practice. The job is a unique opportunity to have a rich, hands-on learning experience working alongside owners in a small startup’s growth. It is especially valuable for someone who finds satisfaction in making a product from top to bottom, and someone with an interest in starting their own product company.
