Position Overview
This role is a sales opportunity within our Single Family, Sales & Relationship Management organization. It will be primarily responsible for business development and management of customer relationship(s) with a keen focus on leading activities that impact the customer experience, with the objective of increasing and sustaining customer satisfaction and market share.

***** The person hired may work from California, Washington (state), Oregon, or McLean, VA.

Responsibilities include:
* Communicate effectively and coordinate cross-functional resources to optimize achievement of potentially disparate objectives (market share, credit quality metrics, affordable housing, profitability etc.)
* Develop a deep understanding of the customers’ business models and strategies
* Develop and implement a Territory Plan to include meeting frequency standards, support team engagement and meetings with Freddie Mac Management (as appropriate)
* Comply with internal reporting requirements, sales processes and standards, and communication of results
* Develop and maintain strategic account plans for top customers
* Oversee and coordinate the management of the day to day projects and activities with the customer
* Lead, guide and direct the sales support team members to understand and address the customer needs and issues, establishing accountabilities and appropriate timelines for fulfillment
* Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends
Qualifications
* 7-10 years of relevant experience in the primary and secondary market
* Bachelor degree in Business Management, Finance, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired
* Proven success in a consultative selling environment
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute solutions to complex issues and transactions
* Understanding of the secondary mortgage market and technical competency related to economics of mortgage banking
* Willingness to travel on a regular basis as required

Preferred Skills
* Relevant post-graduate degree or training preferred
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to manage multiple efforts simultaneously
* Working knowledge of the capital markets and best execution
