We're looking for a motivated individual that can work with our fundraising, event development, and volunteer management staff. Job Duties would include, but not be limited to, clerical work (organization, data entry, mailings, design, printing, etc), assisting with managing of fundraising events, cold calls, distributing information, recruiting for and promoting our events and programs. Through volunteering/internship the individual would learn about the inner workings of various Relay For Life community events. This would include working with staff to help promote and market the events, help recruit volunteers and businesses to support the events, with the potential of being out in the community if needed. This is a great career development opportunity for anybody interested in a future career at the American Cancer Society or other non-profit organizations.

Minimum qualifications are:
12-15 hour minimum per week (in office or other arrangements with staff approval)
Commitment for a minimum of 3 months
Microsoft Proficient (word, publisher, excel, powerpoint)
Effective communication included but not limited to talking on the phone, in person presentations, or written communication.
Ability to work in a professional and confidential environment

Preferred qualifications are:
Students seeking college credit for their studies
Independent and self-starters
Proficient in most social media (Emphasis on Facebook)
