What Do Kaplan MCAT Instructors Do?
Select their own schedules: At the start of each test cycle, you and your manager will select the teaching assignments that work for you. Our MCAT courses include twelve sessions, and we offer classes that meet once, twice, or three times a week, so there’s a schedule that works for everyone.
Get paid to work from home: In addition to teaching, you’ll have paid out-of-class tasks, including answering students’ emails and reviewing their performance on practice exams. You’ll also receive a detailed lesson plan for each session, and you can prepare for class from the comfort of your own home!
Have the opportunity to be promoted: Nearly every full-time Kaplan employee, including our current General Manager, started as an instructor. We love to recognize talent and promote from within the company.
Love their boss and co-workers: Although our team is spread across the country, we’re a connected and engaged community. Our diverse teaching family includes lawyers, doctors, entrepreneurs, working moms, baristas, artists, Jeopardy champions -- you name it!
As the leader in educational services, we help students achieve their academic and career goals every day.
