Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Full Time 1 FTE 40 hours per week
Monday - Friday
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) serves as the clinical supervisor for all ABA services. As a primary function, the BCBA is responsible for the training & supervision of direct care staff to ensure effective implementation of the behavioral plan, as well as all relevant policies and procedures. The BCBA is responsible for adhering to professional and legal requirements and principles as well as demonstrating sound professional judgment at all times.
Directly observe treatment implementation for potential program revision
Monitor treatment integrity to ensure satisfactory implementation of treatment protocols
Provide direct instruction, training, and support to client and family members during regularly scheduled visits.
Develop treatment goals, protocols and data collection systems
Collaboration with family, caregivers, and all service providers is necessary to ensure continuity of care. Demonstrate ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team
Effectively manage caseload, prepare and submit all required documentation in a timely manner
Review and evaluate the performance of the direct care staff member to ensure the proper implementation of treatment plan
Conduct functional behavior assessments & recommend positive behavior supports for children with Autism Spectrum and other related disorders.
Monitor and provide support for staff in use of ABA strategies and procedures.
Collaborate with families in the development of behavior support strategies.
Work closely with the Behavior Specialists in their provision of direct services, and provide the needed resources and guidance to assist clients, parents, and Behavior Specialists in the development and implementation of behavior protocols.
Competence in supervising and developing ABA treatment programs for clients
CPR Certification Required
Experience with setting up ABA services in a clinical environment is highly desired.
