We are seeking a qualified intern who LOVES photography, videography, graphic design, and marketing to join our team at our headquarters in Eugene, OR. We are looking for candidates who can help us accelerate our brand growth while we help them accelerate their learning and improve their resume with real world skills. Our main product line is stevia, a 100% natural herbal extract that is 250 times sweeter than sugar but with no calories or carbohydrates. We also offer other natural sweeteners, baking products, health foods, and dietary supplements. Our customers include Whole Foods, Fred Meyer, GNC, Natural Grocers, Market of Choice, Bi-Mart and thousands of other grocery chains and health food stores domestically and internationally. •Project Management: Brainstorm creative content concepts, develop project outlines, and execute original content creation (photo, video, graphic, written) in collaboration with the Marketing intern and Marketing team.
•Photo/Video Creation and Editing: Plan, organize, and execute (shoot) photo and video shoots as assigned (IE: product, lifestyle, instructional/demonstrational). Also responsible for editing/post production of photos and videos in alignment with plan.
•Collateral production: create and revise collateral to support the NuNaturals rebrand. This includes catalogs, sell sheets, recipe cards, letterhead, media kits, sales and company presentations and other sales and marketing collateral as needed. May include management and organization of media asset libraries.
•Digital Marketing: Assist with the maintenance of the website, online product information, online store promotions, consumer communications, other e-commerce efforts, write retailer and consumer e-newsletters, and help direct all social media content and efforts in conjunction with the Marketing Intern and Marketing Team.
•Other activities that may be needed in an entrepreneurial, small business environment.
This is a digital media internship position for a currently enrolled University junior, senior, or recent graduate with prior experience. The ideal candidate will be familiar and EXCITED about photography, videography, graphic design, and marketing with digital media. The position requires a can-do attitude. Love for natural products a plus (we always have lots of delicious treats in the office!). Must be on site in Eugene, Oregon. Positive company culture!
Candidate will be consistent; showing up for work on time and working the hours they are expected to work.
• Currently enrolled University junior, senior, or recent graduate.
• Experience filming and editing digital video (required), as well as basic photoshop manipulation (required).
o Videography: Filming with DSLR cameras, editing (preferably with Premiere Pro and After Effects), audio recording, syncing etc. Knowledge of lighting practices is a plus.
o Photoshop/Lightroom: Formatting photos to requested resolutions, filetypes, etc. Creating clippings paths. Touching up and applying filters.
o Photography: Ability to organize and execute photo shoots. Lifestyle product shots and studio product photography.
• Experience with the principles of graphic design and desktop publishing including use of Adobe Creative Suite.
o Graphic Design: Ability to use Illustrator. Vector creation and manipulation.
o Document Layout: Ability to use InDesign + Illustrator to lay out all types of documents such as marketing materials and sales support materials.
• Self-starter; can work independently with a sense of urgency; organized, focused, and strong work ethic
• Ability to switch between a multitude of different tasks quickly; willing to problem-solve
• Willingness and desire to work within a small team with a high level of accountability
• Superior time-management and adherence to deadlines
• Familiar in Microsoft office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word), Google Suite, and other computer programs
