AWS is a large operating unit within Amazon expanding at extraordinary rates, growing revenue over 40% annually on an annualized sales base of $16Bn as of Q2 2017. Candidates will have a chance to take on progressive assignments specifically designed to develop your leadership skills and test your analytics capability. As an Infrastructure CloudPath Operations Manager you can innovate to solve these issues and help drive Operations Excellence in all areas of your role. You will drive continuous improvement projects throughout the course of the program in order to gain efficiencies and productivity in your assigned area of responsibility. The AWS Infrastructure CloudPath Operations Manager program will consist of two, 18-month rotations to maximize the candidates’ breadth and exposure to the program and the facilities in which they will manage. The first rotation assignment is in the U.S with the opportunity to complete the second rotation internationally. Candidates will experience leading and managing people with varying skillsets, creating, tracking and controlling budgets, devising strategies, mentoring people in all levels, sponsoring projects and proposing technical solutions.
You’ll have a chance to take on progressive assignments specifically designed to develop your leadership skills and test your analytics capability. You will engage in continuous improvement projects throughout the course of the program in order to gain efficiencies and productivity in your assigned area of responsibility.

For full-time positions based in the United States, Amazon will consider H-1B sponsorship only for former interns receiving full-time offers. Additionally, Amazon will consider individuals currently in H-1B status who have at least two years of H-1B eligibility remaining, or individuals who are eligible for work authorization in visa categories other than the H-1B. Individuals in F-1 status with optional practical training (OPT) will often require H-1B sponsorship, and therefore, must meet the criteria above independent of OPT eligibility, to be considered for a full-time position in the United States. For full-time positions outside of the United States, Amazon will consider visa sponsorship in most locations

Basic Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in MBA or equivalent Master’s level program at the time of application and graduated before start date.
• 3-4 years of industry or military work experience prior to Master’s Program
• STEM undergraduate degree and/or Operations background with extensive supervisory and leadership training and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3+ Years managing people in a technical environment
• Direct operational leadership experience in a critical 24 X 7 environment
• Technical writing experience
• Prior project management experience
• Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
• The ability to dive deep into data and provide thought-provoking, workable business solutions
• Demonstrated ability to think big and influence across all levels of an organization
• Comfortable with "hands on" management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
