Fox Hollow Instruction Program (FHIP) is seeking college students who are interested in working with at-risk youth. We are a middle school program serving 6th-8th grade students who are working to improve their behavior skills. We run an AM session from 8:10AM-11:40AM and a PM session from 11:25AM-2:40PM. (Wed schedule 8:10AM-1:40PM.) Students are only in class for 3 hours, so reading and math are our primary academic emphasis. We are looking for college students to serve as positive role models while tutoring our students in math and reading.
Experience working with children preferred, but not necessary. Experience working with at-risk youth move to the top. Organizational Skills, punctuality, reliability and consistency a definite must.
