The Accessible Education Center invites students to sign up as peer notetakers!

Do you take neat, detailed notes during your classes?

Do you want to earn money for uploading your notes while supporting access for students with disabilities?

At the end of the term, peer notetakers can receive a total of $25 per credit for uploading notes from their own classes.

Visit aec.uoregon.edu/student-jobs-and-volunteer-opportunities and click on "Sign Up To Be A Peer Notetaker."

• Keep any information you receive about the student(s) receiving notes confidential.
• Be enrolled in the class for which you are taking notes. If you drop the class, you must inform AEC within 24 hours.
• Take comprehensive notes during every class session and upload notes (as .doc, .pdf, or .rtf) to AEC Connect within 24 hours. If notes are not needed due to an exam or class cancelation, upload a document that states the reason for not needing notes.
• Check your @uoregon.edu email address daily for assignment details.
• Confirm your notetaking assignment within 72 hours of receiving the assignment via email.
• Arrange for a substitute notetaker (classmate) if you are absent from class.
• Inform AEC if you are assigned to a class that does not have a strong lecture component and does not require frequent notetaking.
