The Oregon Health Authority is modernizing and expanding their IT infrastructure and currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Systems Architect with C#.NET experience to join an excellent team and work to advance their IT operations.

What you will do!
As a Systems Architect, you will provide the highest level of technical expertise and leadership to analyze, plan, develop, integrate, implement and coordinate the operations, maintenance, installation and construction of information systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for the technical direction of software engineering teams while guiding the evolution of the systems architecture and quality, and enabling innovation.

This position will give you the opportunity to design and develop the team's technical growth while instituting industry best practices and standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
(a) Seven (7) years of information systems experience in Senior Architect-level development (which must include C#.NET) AND Vendor Management Documentation and Architecture.

OR

(b) An Associate's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND 5 years of information systems experience in Senior Architect-level development (which must include C#.NET) AND Vendor Management Documentation and Architecture.

OR

(c) A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field AND three (3) years of information systems experience in Senior Architect-level development (which must include C#.NET) AND Vendor Management Documentation and Architecture.

OR

(d) Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field AND one (1) year of information systems experience in Senior Architect-level development (which must include C#.NET) AND Vendor Management Documentation and Architecture.

REQUESTED SKILLS:
• Extensive experience translating business requirements into solution architecture. Ability to describe these requirements through architecture and design artifacts/documentation.
• Extensive experience in the development of SOWs/RFPs and evaluating vendor/partner proposed solutions including:
o Overall System Architecture (front and back-end system design and implementation),
o Security,
o Code Quality,
o Scalability,
o Extensibility,
o Reuse, and
o Maintainability
• Strong track record of successfully developing new applications from beginning to end as well as maintaining and modifying existing applications.
• Experience using modern source control systems, testing practices, and code and design review tools and processes.
• Working knowledge of modern relational database design, modeling, manipulation and reporting tools such as SSIS and/or SSRS.
• Experience using Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBI.
• Software development experience with the following tools:
o C#.Net with Angular and Bootstrap,
o IIS,
o Visual Studio,
o JIRA,
o SVN,
o Git,
o TFS, and
o SQL Server
• Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Political savviness and finesse to manage customers and vendors.
• Senior level technical skills and excellent customer service skills.
• Willingness to work standard office hours (Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm)
• Experience in promoting a culturally competent and diverse work environment.
