SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER sought by Radisys Corporation in Hillsboro, OR.
JOB DUTIES: Primarily responsible for working with Sales, PLMs, Service, and Program Management team members to align their collective needs with overall supply of the company’s products and/or Services Radisys coordinates with 3rd party turnkey integration and service partners. These efforts are focused on a very dynamic new product line at Radisys. Act as a key Supply Operations team manager that will work cross functionally with a team responsible for ensuring that supply is allocated and managed properly as forecasts change, request dates are modified, and unexpected events arise. Specific duties include: 1) Cross functional contributor with a core Supply Operations team responsible product lifecycle/change management (including NPI builds), supply chain and materials, logistics, product labeling/branding, factory quality, assembly genealogy collection, etc. 2) Manage the maintenance of all forecasts and production build plans passed to suppliers weekly and/or monthly. 3) Act as a single point of contact to monitor supplier performance metrics: lead time, on time delivery, inventory turns, quality and cost. 4) Monitor supplier material planning, WIP, and FGI levels against open orders. 5) Ensure the reconciliation with Radisys forecasted and booked orders with end customers. 6) Product cost and overall inventory management. 7) Collect and review all open order and backlog reports from suppliers and verify against latest forecasts and installation schedules, and escalate work issues as may be necessary. 8) Coordinate logistics and ship dates of completed products to customer sites for installation and commission activities led by the Radisys services team. 9) Act as a single point of contact within Radisys for timing of shipments, installations, and other "Sales Ops" activities. 10) Assist in the coordination of rework, cut-in dates, etc. related to product design/build changes via ECO/ECR. 11) Optimize/minimize freight and shipping costs while maintaining commit dates and necessary flexibility. 12) Manage Order to Cash process in SAP. 13) Develop and maintain inventory reporting for weekly Estaff review. 14) Develop Statement of work and Master Supply agreements for new suppliers. 15) Negotiate cost, lead time and MOQ with suppliers. 16) Identify supplier execution gaps and drive process improvement projects. 17) Manage supply and demand planning in Steelwedge.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field, plus three (3) years of supply chain management or related experience in material and production planning, including improving and implementing inventory control measures, managing inventory turns and count accuracy, and using software and database tools for analysis and modeling to improve material planning, inventory turns/levels and supply chain management.
Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field, plus five (5) years of supply chain management or related experience in material and production planning, including improving and implementing inventory control measures, managing inventory turns and count accuracy, and using software and database tools for analysis and modeling to improve material planning, inventory turns/levels and supply chain management.

- Electronics manufacturing services (EMS)
- Final assembly and test (FA&T) environments
- Utilizing Excel including Pivot tables and Macros
- Developing Capacity and Material forecast models
- Leading continuous improvement projects
- 8D or similar structured problem solving tools and reporting formats
