Marketing Assistant of Downtown Athletic Club
(DAC) Job Description – Part Time
Summary: Serving members for 30 years, the Downtown Athletic Club is Eugene’s premier athletic and social club. At the DAC, opportunities abound. Position Title: Marketing Assistant
Location: 999 Willamette St, Eugene, OR 97401
Reporting Line(s): Marketing Director – Supervisors - General Manager - Owner
Purpose of Position: To aid, assist, and contribute in marketing and communications, creation and managment of engaging campaigns for all internal and external promotions, programs, and events.

Main Duties
- Marketing campaign creation, promotion and management
- Drive marketing initiatives and assist in planning process, timelines, and deliverables
- Website and Social media:
- Digital management
- Track, report, and analyze initiatives and campaigns
- Maintain and update all publications, postings, and memberships as needed
- Brand and content management: Forms, collateral and overall public presentation of Club
- Ensure DAC brand and reputation are positively represented
- Approach marketing with a customer service and member-first prospective
- Newsletter creation and publication, creating content and influences, including graphic design
- Representation at and development of trade show presentations, assist in coordination and implementation of presentations to ensure successful execution.
- Proactively communicate with General Manager and Marketing Director about upcoming and in-progress campaigns, as well as post-campaign recaps
- Perform additional duties as assigned

- Experience and skills in copy writing and graphic design
- Experience with digital
- Exhibit solid understanding of marketing automation strategies
- Experience in content marketing and planning
- Deep understanding of social media outlets and their adaptability to changing style, demographic and tonality
- Computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Photoshop, and implantation of advanced software.
- Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years’ experience in marketing or public relations preferred
