Pay Type: 
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm during training. Hours will be based on assigned territory!

The Sales Development Representative contributes to the success of the North American sales effort by proactively calling suspects and prospects. This entry-level position is geared toward learning the skills essential to becoming a valuable member of the sales team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

-Places outbound calls (frequent phone use, daily)
-Develops skills to qualify A/E firms and verify specific data necessary to become accounts
-Develops skills to qualify prospects as "active" opportunities
-Improves data integrity within Salesforce.

Job Duties:

-Uses consultative questioning techniques to understand prospects’ business and shares the benefits of using our tools
-Demonstrates key features of products to help illustrate how we can aid prospects
-Learns competitive products and issues and develop strategies to overcome them
-Engages in continuous development to position self for merit based promotion
-Upholds all company policies on documentation
-Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance
-Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
-Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with clients and co-workers, including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure
-Performs other duties as assigned

-Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field preferred
-Exposure to sales qualification processes and telemarketing (outbound calls) experience is preferred
-Effective interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills required
-Prior full sales cycle experience or understanding of full sales cycle is beneficial
-Experience working for a technology company is helpful.
