Develops and implements strategic marketing plans, sales plans, and forecasts to achieve revenue goals and guest satisfaction goals of the hotels. Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly. Manages and directs sales staff including recruitment, selection, and development to achieve goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Achieves acceptable sales volume and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors. Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities. Establishes and maintains relationships with major accounts, tourism, and business associations to ensure repeat business. Work with Revenue Manager to ensure selling strategies are understood and adhered to. Keep accurate records. Have an excellent understanding of Management Company sales policies and selling techniques with an emphasis on maximizing occupancy and average daily rate. Must have valid driver’s license, with clean driving record. Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.

Driving in car frequently, getting in and out of car frequently.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 4 years hotel sales experience. Negotiation skills. Proven history of leading and developing a team. Must be able to communicate and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to achieve company goals. Read, write, and speak English. Prior customer service experience necessary. Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members. Flexibility in scheduling is required. Must possess a valid driver license with acceptable driving record. Must pass criminal background check.
