Our Client is seeking an experienced business to business (B2B) outside sales representative capable of creating and developing long term relationships with farmers, Agribusiness owners, and C-level executives. You must be comfortable selling in a highly consultative new business development role offering solutions ranging from $25,000 - $250,000+. The position will be located in Salem, OR.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
-Places outbound calls (frequent phone use, daily)
-Develops skills to qualify prospects and verify specific data necessary to become accounts
-Develops skills to qualify prospects as "active" opportunities
-Desire to build a business clientele, and retain your customers year after year
-Uses consultative questioning techniques to understand prospects’ business
-Demonstrates key features of products to help illustrate how we can aid prospects
-Learns competitive products and issues and develop strategies to overcome them
-Engages in continuous development to position self for merit based promotion
-Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance
-Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
-Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with clients and co-workers, including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure
-Performs other duties as assigned

-Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field preferred
-Sales experience selling to Farmers and Agribusinesses preferred
-Exposure to sales qualification processes and telemarketing (outbound calls) experience is preferred
-Effective interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills required
-Prior full sales cycle experience or understanding of full sales cycle is beneficial
