This is a special project, through the collaboration of a new startup Aciu, and a nonprofit advocacy group in mental health, MF Oregon.

While this is for an uncompensated internship, we pledge a superb and extensive letter of recommendation after successfully helping for a period of time. We also give out awards to appropriate candidates. Plus, we have hopes and dreams that this collaborative project will blossom!

Especially for those interested in mental health activism and sustainability, learning through this internship is a "must." I began in this field as a working class student going to Harvard, and in my senior year I was placed as an intern in activism for mental health community organizing. I graduated with honors in 1977, and this became my career. Google me, David W. Oaks, I worked as founder and ED at one of the main independent nonprofits in this area: MindFreedom International.

Aciu Institute is a brand new startup consulting LLC, and MindFreedom has a great track record of more than three decades, their headquarters are in downtown Eugene.
