Your job may include a mix of the following functions:
1) Product Marketing
Responsibilities include defining product positioning; reviewing and determining product packaging; creating sales and marketing collateral; analyzing competitive landscape; defining pricing strategy for ZL software; determining market requirements; updating and maintaining product definition; gathering and analyzing competitive intelligence; determining product road-map; defining product differentiation.
2) Marketing Communications
Responsibilities include maintaining relationship with industry analysts and establishing new relationships; developing, managing, and implementing marketing initiatives; creating strategy for trade shows, conferences and other events; direct marketing initiatives such as direct mail, promotions, web site and online programs.
3) Business Development
Responsibilities include identifying potential partners for ZL; identifying key decision makers and building relationships; creating and expanding ZL’s channel program; creating and expanding ZL’s marketing alliance program; mentoring and monitoring partner activities.
