We are currently seeking highly driven sales and marketing professionals for our Event Marketing Team within our Leadership Development Program. A successful candidate in the position will be responsible for driving sales in one of our premier product lines within the world’s largest home improvement retailer.

The Event Marketing Specialist will be responsible for:
~ Promoting and selling Ryobi and Homelite outdoor products
~ Planning, coordinating and implementing store events to generate demand for our innovative Ryobi cordless products
~ Conducting current market research and communicating findings to the marketing team
~ Implementing company marketing strategies
~ Training store associates and our field sales teams via product knowledge sessions
~ Providing event assistance to other markets as necessary, based on the current business and market conditions

~ Ability to build relationships and maintain strong partnerships with store personnel
~ Multi-tasking self-starter with strong execution and planning skills

~ Strong computer skills: internet, email, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
~ Ability to complete online training as required
~ Willing to work Wednesday through Sunday schedule
~ Must be willing to travel and/or relocate around the Portland, OR area
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Physical Requirement: The following physical demands must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: frequent standing and/or walking for up to 8 hours in a retail environment, reaching, pulling, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
