This position is available beginning with Winter term.The House Manager is responsible for: *Directing usher volunteers of all ages in cleaning, tickets and seating. *Working concessions *Cleaning kitchen & bathrooms *Obtaining OLCC liquor license paid for by the theatre *Obtaining Food Handlers Card and First Aid Certification *Working with Box Office & Stage Managers to open the show, coordinate intermission, and close out the evening. There are two House Managers on a shift. One House Manager opens at 6pm and the second House Manager comes in at 7pm and closes out the evening.
Must be available Thursday evenings. The shifts vary in length and are usually Thursdays & Fridays (6:00-10:45pm) or Saturday evening & Sundays (12:45-5:15) during school year. If available for Saturday & Sunday must also be able available to substitute on other evenings if needed. Must have a Federal Work Study award. Experience in theater helpful, but not necessary. Good Customer Service skills a must.
