What you’ll be doing...
This internship position, which is part of the overall Verizon Campus Program, will give you a chance to channel your drive and enthusiasm. You will be front and center, hands-on and contributing your energy to high-impact projects from the moment you arrive.
We are looking for a Sales intern who will be responsible for researching, identifying and engaging potential customers of Skyward, A Verizon Company’s suite of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) operations management products and services. This position will be part of a rapidly growing sales team within Skyward located in Portland, OR, helping organizations launch, manage and scale their UAS programs.
You will take part in meaningful work and real-life projects that will help you grow both professionally and personally throughout the program. You'll learn from the best minds in the industry and have a chance to enhance your sales knowledge in an environment that’s dedicated to industry superiority.
●Collaborate with sales team to devise territory-specific prospecting campaigns
●Research accounts to understand needs, build target lists and develop effective emails
●Proactively discover qualified prospects within target accounts to uncover new sales opportunities
●Provide constructive suggestions for improving the inbound/outbound sales processes

You’ll need to have:
●Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program at an accredited college or university with an expected completion date between December 2017 and June 2020.
●Good verbal and written communications skills
●Good research skills
●Ability to work in a team environment, share ideas and collaborate to create sales opportunities
Even better if you have:
●Some customer facing job experience
●Technical background with deep curiosity to learn about new technology
●GPA of 3.2 or higher
