Seasonal (June to August) Full time, seasonal position offering $275 per week with room and board. Live in the unit with 8-24 campers and help each girl adjust and become used to other campers and camp life. Learn and help carry out health and safety regulations. Assist in guiding the individual campers to participate in group, unit and all-camp activities. Responsible for the health and safety of campers in the unit. Work closely with the unit team to provide program and other activities within the unit. Assist in guiding activities and experiences in the unit through girl planning.

Qualifications for the Unit Counselor- At least 16 years of age for Kitchen Aides and Junior Counselor/Wranglers, and 18 years of age for all other positions. Experience working with children, young adults and adults. Interest, knowledge or skill in a variety of camp programs. Possess or able to obtain Child and Adult CPR/First Aid certification or higher. Possess or able to obtain food handlers card required by specific county and state. Possess or able to obtain appropriate aquatic, equestrian or challenge certifications as necessary. Register as a member of Girl Scouts of the USA. Willingness to accept the principles of the Girl Scouts movement as expressed in the Girl Scouts Promise and Law
