Extra Help - Spring / Summer - Lane County Parks Division and Road Maintenance Division
Positions Start at $10.95 per hour
Lane County Public Works seeks extra help employees for its Parks Division and its Road Maintenance Division.
NOTE: Start Dates are Staggered, with Jobs Starting in March, April, May, June & July
PARKS: Successful candidates perform general manual labor at Lane County parks. Work includes cleaning facilities; picking up trash; stocking bathrooms; etc.
ROADS: Successful candidates perform general manual labor and flagging work on Public Works road crews.
1. Applicants must be 18 or older at time of hire and possess a valid Oregon Driver's License.
2. Prior to starting work, successful applicants will be asked to submit a Certified Court Print Driving Record for Department review.
3. Successful applicants for Road Maintenance positions will be asked to pass a pre-employment drug test before beginning work.

IMPORTANT: Interviews for these positions will be conducted on Tuesday, March 20th, at Lane County Public Works / 3040 North Delta Highway, Eugene.

Schedule: Employees will work four, ten-hour days per week. For Parks employees, peak season shifts will include weekend and holiday work.
*Extra Help employees may work up to a maximum of 520 hours per fiscal year.
