Dinorah Ortiz is a career readiness coach with the University Career Center. They graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a BA in psychology and double minored in Spanish and child and adolescent development. Dinorah is currently working toward completing a master's in psychology from the UO.  

Dinorah comes from a background in social services/nonprofit sector, working specifically with clients experiencing homelessness, re-entry after incarceration, and navigating the challenges of being undocumented. With the work they have gotten to be a part of, Dinorah hopes to use their expertise in helping students navigate their personal experiences plus academic and career stresses in a holistic and DEI-focused approach. Dinorah is a proud advocate for Dreamers/undocumented students, BIPOC students, and LGBTQIA+ students. 

Outside of work, Dinorah enjoys reading at the park or playing video/board games with friends.
