What is one thing you learned or experienced during your time at the UO that is helping you be successful on your global career journey?

I would say to dream big. Explore, get yourself out of your comfort zone! You’ll experience new things, explore new knowledge, meet new people, and you’ll find new possibilities you didn’t even think of.

What words of advice do you have for students who want to live, work, or study around the world?

It’s great! Like I said, you meet so many cool people, explore new knowledge and cultures. It really helps you to grow, learn more about the world, and it allows you to dream big, expand your horizons. It’s so amazing how much you learn from getting outside of your comfort zone, getting outside of where you’re from. You have to do it! Trust me, you’ll be glad you did it!

What is one thing you wish someone would have told you before you graduated about the world of work, job searching, or career paths?

I wish I had a career coach when I graduated. I worked with a career coach only in recent years and it would’ve been so helpful to have one when I graduated to help me discover what exactly I wanted to do, how to learn new ways to prep for interviews, in job search, in my career path.
